Hövding does not connect to the Hövding App (iPhone)

NOTE: If Hövding is connected to Hövding App but its status doesn’t update correctly on the app’s main screen, see Hövding’s status does not update correctly first. (Depending on model and iOS version, the phone’s settings may differ slightly from this guide.)


1. Reset the phones Bluetooth

Open the Settings app and tap Bluetooth. Turn Bluetooth OFF and then back ON.

2. Remove previously connected Hövdings

Look for device names starting with ‘HOVD_’ or ‘PAIR_’. If you find any, tap ( i ) next to the device name, then tap Forget This Device.

3. Connect Hövding

Open Hövding App and tap Get Started on the main screen. Follow the instructions on the screen.

NOTE: If Hövding still doesn’t connect to Hövding App, please try the following.

  • Restart the phone.
  • Reinstall Hövding App.
  • If possible, try connecting Hövding to Hövding App on another phone.
