My Hövding story

In a sense, I feel more safe now going out even if it might be a bit icy knowing that Hövding has my back.

It was a typical evening. I was on my way to meet a friend to go to the gym. This was the beginning of winter and the temperatures had just started to drop. I think it had rained overnight and some icy patches had started to form. I was oblivious to this last part and suddenly while I was making a turn, my front wheel slipped and I found myself on the ground.

What thoughts went through your head during and after the accident?
I didn’t really have time to process what had happened. The first thing was hearing the loud noise from the Hövding explosion and finding myself on the ground. The sound alerted other people on the pavement and they were kind enough to come over to check on me. Luckily, I only had a bruise from the bike landing on me and otherwise was unharmed!

Has the accident meant any change in your cycling behavior?
In a sense, I feel more safe now going out even if it might be a bit icy knowing that Hövding has my back. It won’t only trigger in cases where there’s an impact but also slipping!

Will you continue cycling with Hövding in the future?
I still do!
